The Minister of Health is inspecting the hospitals of Nag Hammadi and Apotche and Construction "Ophthalmia" Qena
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, accompanied by Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, visited the Nag Hammadi General Hospital, to follow up the progress of work on the ground and ensure the quality of the old services for citizens. Health on the ground, monitoring challenges and working to solve them, in a manner that ensures the provision of the best services to citizens, in the context of a series of periodic field tours, in various governorates. and followed & laquo; The hospital’s capacity is 91 beds, including 10 reception and emergency beds, 20 concentrated care beds, 8 cardiac care beds, and 22 nurseries for premature children. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health completed his tour by inspecting the Abucht Hospital, which is located on an area of 16 thousand and 152 square meters, and its capacity is 118 beds (95 accommodations, 8 focused care, 4 operations, 15 nurseries, and 36 chlia washing machinery). Until the minister was keen to listen to all citizens’ requests in the hospital, directed to work to solve it immediately, stressing that the governorate witnessed a great development in the health system, to provide the best services to citizens. The implementation of the project is 78% and includes sections (reception and emergency, ophthalmology, dental clinics, radiology, blood laboratory, chemistry laboratory, parasite laboratory, blood bank), as well as patients ’insulation rooms, patient residence rooms, operating rooms, and focused care unit. To the Minister’s assertion, that what has been accomplished in the governorates of Upper Egypt during the last ten years is a major boom in various fields, including the health sector, pointing to the continued field trips to monitor the challenges facing the health system and the needs of citizens and work to solve them.
