The unified Dubai license reduces the time of opening the companies’ bank account by 35%

Dubai Registration and Commercial Licensing Corporation, one of the institutions of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, has revealed the distinguished results achieved by its strategic partnership with Emirates NBD, since the bank was linked to the Initiative of the Unified Dubai License.

Emirates NBD was one of the first banks to formally joined the unified Dubai license, as it was a reliable and accredited partner from the government, to accelerate the frequency of registration of small and medium -sized companies, and to provide the distinctive banking services for the business community, and the bank succeeded through its ability to directly access the trade licenses database and investors with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism in reducing the period of opening accounts for these companies by 35%, and a more updating process. From 4000 customer records in the business sector only during the past two months, eliminating the need for any manual intervention by customers or employees.

The unified Dubai license, which was launched in 2023, provides a central digital identity for the existing and new economic facilities operating in Dubai and its free zones, and aims to facilitate the practice of business in the emirate. The Emirates NBD since its association with the unified Dubai license to expand the linking of the link, to include all licensing authorities in Dubai that joined the platform, and in March 2025 the Emirates Islamic Bank, affiliated to the group Emirates NBD, joining the platform, which enhances integration through the banking system, said the Executive Director of the Dubai Registration and Commercial Licensing Corporation, Ahmed Khalifa Al -Qizi Al -Falasi: “Our partnership with Emirates NBD reflects the effectiveness of Dubai’s unified license in enhancing business efficiency, and the ambitious city endeavors in establishing a more attractive investment environment.”
