“There is no safe place in Gaza,” air strikes are rising and bombing 10 UNRWA buildings within 4 days

In a statement posted on “X”, Commissioner -General Philip Lazarini said: “There is no safe place in Gaza, and no one is safe.”

He pointed to the bombing of 10 UNRWA buildings in Gaza City during the past four days only. This includes 7 schools and clinics used as shelters for thousands of displaced people.

The United Nations Agency for Relief and Works of Palestine Refugees (Palestine) was forced (UNRWA) To stop providing health care in Al -Shati camp, which is the only health care center available north of the Gaza Valley.

Lazarini said the agency’s vital water and sanitation services are now only at half capacity. He added that the agency teams “The number of its members is 11,000, continues to provide vital services in other parts of the north of Gaza and the rest of the Gaza Strip.”

He emphasized the commitment of UNRWA teams to serve their societies despite all the difficulties, and stated that UNRWA employees themselves live under very inhumane conditions. He said that their design (to continue working) in the face of these inhuman conditions is an inspiration.

“How long will it take measures to take a ceasefire in Gaza,” he asked.
