Japanese exports fell 0.1% on an annual basis during August

Tokyo on September 17/ WAM/ Japan’s exports fell 0.1% on an annual basis during the month of August, to record a decrease for the fourth month in a row, according to the data issued by the Japanese Ministry of Finance, today, Wednesday.

Imports decreased by 5.2 % during August compared to the same month last year.

As a result, the trade scale recorded a deficit of 242.5 billion yen “1.66 billion dollars” compared to an expected deficit of 513.6 billion yen.
