Dubai Multiple Commodities Center records growth in the number of Italian companies registered with it by 10%

Dubai, September 18 / WAM / The Dubai Center for Multiple Commodities recorded the international business area and a prominent contribution to stimulating the flow of global trade across Dubai, by approximately 10 percent in the number of companies coming from Italy during the past 12 months, bringing a total number to more than 530 Italian companies.
This announcement came in conjunction with the conclusion of the center, its latest promotional rounds in its series “found for trade” in the cities of Naples and Yermo in southern Italy, which was devoted to strengthening regional commercial ties between Dubai and South Italy with the aim of exploring new prospects for cooperation.
The center stated that more than 260 Italian business leaders were seen during the tour of the prestigious position occupied by Dubai as a global center for trade and innovation, as well as the pivotal role played by the Dubai Multiple Commodities Center in supporting companies from all over the world to establish their businesses and link them smoothly within global value chains, which supports their expansion and prosperity in international markets.
He pointed out that the growing trade relations between the UAE and Italy registered an increase in the value of non -oil trade between the two countries to exceed 14 billion US dollars in 2024, achieving an annual increase of more than 20 percent, with promising capabilities to enhance cooperation in strategic sectors such as agricultural food, coffee, minerals, precious stones and energy.
Ahmed bin Salim, First CEO and Executive Director of the Dubai Center for Multiple Commodities said that in light of the established bilateral relations that bring together the two countries, and with the reach of the volume of non -oil trade between the UAE and Italy to 14 billion US dollars in 2024, the Dubai Center for Multiple Commodities witnessed a growth of approximately 10% in the number of Italian companies during the past 12 months. Our recent promotional tours within the ‘found for trade’ series in Napoli and Permo emphasize this strong momentum, and the great capabilities available to promote trade and investment at the regional level between Dubai and South Italy are highlighted.
