Al -Wasl player Fabio Lima confirmed that the results of the Emirates clubs in the AFC Champions League and the AFC Champions League 2 will inspire the national team before playing the two decisive matches in the Asian Rear qualifying supplement to the 2026 World Cup.

He continued: «Certainly these results are positively reflected on the national team before confronting both Amman and Qatar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers next month, as“ Al -Abyad ”depends on a large number of players of clubs participating in the two continental championships.

Lima stressed that the aspirations of the national team are to qualify for the World Cup, which is held in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada, indicating that everyone is aware of the importance of this stage, which is historical for “white”, which makes the team play the two matches with a great focus to achieve the dream of ascending to the World Cup.
Fabio Lima talked about the victory of Al -Wasl for independence, and said: “Certainly, a very important victory, and is a moral boost for the team in its first participation in the championship updated last year, the AFC Champions League 2.”
And he added, “Despite winning seven goals, the match was not easy, as independence is a strong team, but the good thing is that we played a big match, and our focus was at its best levels, especially in ending the attacks and scoring goals.”
