Jubail Island will be the main theater of the exhibition’s activities, while its activities extend for the first time to the Al Ain area, especially in the two Qattara and Jimmy, where optical structures interact with the natural environment rich in Aflaj and archaeological sites.
The opening of Al Ain site also coincides with the crafts and traditional industries festival, which creates an ideal space to celebrate the Emirati heritage.
“Manar Abu Dhabi offers the audience and artists creative meetings inspired by the authentic Emirati heritage and contemporary experiences, and with the slogan” your guide is the star of Suhail “, this version turns into an exploratory journey, calling us to vision, feeling, communication with the landscapes and stories that light reveals.”
For its part, Alia Zaal Lootah, the coordinator of “Manar Abu Dhabi 2025”, said: “Manar Abu Dhabi will highlight the unique nature of the emirate’s islands and oases, through his synthetic artistic works that employ multiple techniques and overwhelming experiences, to leave an eternal imprint in the memory of the population and visitors alike, and by combining the artworks that reflect history, navigation, and guidance through light, the exhibition provides a wealthy experience. You forget the identity of the emirate as a vibrant cultural capital. ”
The exhibition is accompanied by a diverse public program that includes workshops, dialogue sessions and artistic presentations within the framework of the “Abu Dhabi Public Art” initiative to enhance art in public spaces.
