Confessions of a Palestinian state are just talking more than actions

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitte said on Monday that US President Donald Trump believes that recognition of the State of Palestine does not contribute to the release of the hostages in Gaza, which he considers the primary goal at the present time, and he “does not achieve anything related to ending the conflict.”
Levitte added that Trump “differs with confessions of a Palestinian state,” noting that he expressed this position during his recent visit to the United Kingdom, while standing alongside British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer.
Trump considered, according to Levitt, that these confessions represent a “reward for Hamas”, stressing that they are “just more than actions, issued by some of the US friends and allies.”
The spokeswoman indicated that the president will speak on Tuesday before the United Nations General Assembly about this decision taken by several countries, including France, to say that it is just “words, not concrete actions.”
