The Jordanian -Emirati Business Women Council organizes 168 activities within a year

The “Jordanian -Emirati Business Women Council”, at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, finally organized the second forum for the members of the Council, in the presence of the Minister of Commissioner and Deputy Jordanian Ambassador, Tamara Al -Raqqad.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Amal Abdullah Al -Hadabi, reviewed the achievements of the council that were achieved within one year, confirming that the “Jordanian -Emirati Businesswomen Council” was established to be a platform for integration, a space for leadership, and a bridge of cooperation between two brotherly countries with a common history and one future vision. She said: “After only one year, we stand in front of an exceptional harvest that confirms that working in the spirit of the team is the key to success.”
She continued: «After launching the strategic plan in our first meeting of the council under the slogan: (How much with you and we are promoting), work began in the board of directors and the General Assembly with one heart and one determination, so we achieved achievements that we are proud of in record time.
She added: «The Council managed to organize 168 various activities between workshops, seminars, forums, conferences and exhibitions, including 71 activities to support leadership and exchange of experiences, 63 activities to develop women’s capabilities and highlight their achievements, and 33 activities to expand the Jordanian -Emirati trade and investment exchange, in addition to organizing activities to enhance relations and partnerships and build channels of dialogue and communication.
She emphasized that 2,300 businesswomen have benefited from the council’s training and rehabilitation programs, as the council’s activities extended from training, investment and protocol, to money, tourism and media sessions, up to international participation in “AIM”, (Made in the Emirates), and (World Women’s Forum) in Bahrain.
Agreements and negotiations
Al -Hadabi stated that the council succeeded in signing nine official agreements with local, regional and international bodies in the Emirates, Bahrain, China and Jordan, in addition to the Arab League, noting that about 83% of the agreements were made with service partners to support the members, and 17% with official bodies to enhance economic relations.
It revealed current negotiations with Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Oman, for future expansion. The member’s base has also been expanded to include business pioneers, professionalism, influences, and creators, as well as achieving qualitative privileges, including participation in 32 exclusive events that contributed to supporting communication, coordination and work with economic leaders, providing consulting and legal services, discounts via the “membership advantages” card, and partnerships with 48 service agencies.
Work paths
The Chairman of the Board of Directors confirmed that the visit made by the Council’s delegation to Jordan last year was a milestone, as meetings were organized with Jordanian government institutions, including the chambers of industry and trade, the Ministry of Investment, the Tourism Promotion Authority, the holding of high -level meetings with the heads of the “Royal Court” and the “Jordanian House And professionals, under the honorary patronage of the wife of the Jordanian monarch, Queen Rania Al -Abdullah.
She added that it was agreed to launch a joint project in the field of artificial intelligence through a conference and exhibition that will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, next April, stressing that the visit was established for a firm footing of the council in Jordan, and opened prospects for bilateral cooperation and empowerment of women.
She said: “In just one year, the Council has proven that it is a strategic tool for empowering women economically, and that it is a platform for Jordanian -Emirati integration, and a platform for openness to regional and international partnerships.”
She pointed out that the council is moving on four parallel tracks, with the support of the President of the Jordanian -Emirati Businessmen Council, Counselor Mohammed Sayel Al -Ma’aitah, begins with the necessity of internal empowerment of members through training and rehabilitation, then work with Emirati institutions to achieve interdependence, coordination and form a business network with federal and local authorities, in addition to signing regional partnerships with Bahrain and Jordan and Arab councils, and international openness with China, Russia, India, and international forums.
Council action plan
For its part, the Vice-Chairman of the Jordanian UAE Businesswomen Council, Aseel Al-Hijjawi, presented the work plan of the Council 2025-2026, which is based on sustainability, innovation, and positive impact. She explained that the initiatives and projects for the year 2026 include the “Economic Knowledge” initiative, and aims to spread economic awareness among women and entrepreneurships, and provide them with modern tools and concepts that support their active participation in sustainable development.
She pointed to the convening of the annual economic conference under the title: “The leadership of women in the era of artificial intelligence: from empowerment to influence”, next year in the capital, Amman, Jordan, and in 2027 in the UAE.
She added that the initiatives include the “impossible pioneers” initiative, and includes the definition of ambitious students who want to enter the world of entrepreneurship in the services of the Council, through cooperation with universities and educational institutions in the Emirates and Jordan.
The Council’s plan also includes initiatives: (communication and building networks), (launching a diploma in entrepreneurship steps), and (developing capabilities and support of the council members), in addition to organizing a trip to China at the end of the year 2025.
