Gaza .. 20 dead and dozens of wounded in an Israeli bombing

Today, Palestinian media reported that 20 people were killed and dozens of wounded, with an Israeli shelling of a building that shelters displaced near the Firas market in Gaza City.

Medical sources confirmed, yesterday evening, the killing of 36 Palestinians by bullets and the bombing of the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip, since the dawn of that day.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that a few days are separating from the stopping of hospitals as a result of running out of fuel.

The ministry said in a statement published on its Facebook page, that “the crisis of fuel shortages, in the remaining hospitals working in the Gaza Strip, enter a very dangerous stage.”

She added: “A few days may carry scenes with the suspension of the work of vital departments, which means the exacerbation of the health crisis and the exposing the lives of patients and wounded to the certain death.”

The ministry explained that “the technical and engineering procedures for schedule the operating periods have become useless with the stopping of fuel supplies.”

The ministry renewed the urgent call to all concerned parties to intervene, to ensure the strengthening of fuel balances in hospitals and “avoid a catastrophe whose results cannot be expected.”

The ministry announced, the day before yesterday, the departure of two hospitals in Gaza City, the northern Gaza Strip, due to Israel’s escalation of its land attack and the damage caused by the continuous shelling, with the progress of tanks deep in the city.
