Ajman Economy launches a package of initiatives within a campaign "UAE is the capital of entrepreneurs in the world"
Ajman, September 25/ WAM/ The Department of Economic Development in Ajman announced the organization of a package of workshops and training courses directed at entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium enterprises and university students, in a way that enhances the vital role of the pioneering sector in supporting the national economy march, as part of the national campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai “God bless him” under the title “The Emirates is the capital of entrepreneurs in the world” last September with a goal Establishing the UAE’s position as a global destination for entrepreneurship, and providing all ways of support for Emirati youth to benefit from the unique economic environment provided by the country through an integrated set of specialized initiatives and programs.
The department stated in this regard that among the most prominent activities of the campaign is the launch of the Franchise Forum for Entrepreneurs, which brings together a group of local and international brands to open new horizons in the field of commercial concession, in addition to organizing a number of specialized courses in the field of money management and smart marketing to provide owners of small and medium enterprises with practical tools that contribute to enhancing the marketing of their projects in innovative ways commensurate with the available resources.
Within its efforts to support direct marketing of local projects, the department will organize an exhibition for entrepreneurs that gives them the opportunity to display their products and services to the public and investors, which enhances the opportunities of their expansion and growth.
The department is working on launching a marketing campaign to support the decision to open branches of facilities from outside the Emirate of Ajman, as well as attracting entrepreneurs who want to start their projects in the emirate, with the aim of consolidating Ajman’s position and an attractive destination for investment and entrepreneurship.
In this context, Saif Ahmed Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the Department, said that Ajman’s economic participation in this campaign comes from its keenness to support and empower entrepreneurs, and to provide them with the skills and knowledge that qualifies them to keep pace with the market variables and enhance their ability to compete.
Al -Suwaidi explained that the department will work through these events and programs to develop an attractive investment environment in the Emirate of Ajman, and to build a pioneering generation their innovators in achieving the state’s vision and orientations towards a diversified and sustainable economy.
Al -Suwaidi affirmed the commitment of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman to support entrepreneurs and provide qualitative programs that are in line with the aspirations of youth, and contribute to building an economy based on creativity and innovation, in order to enhance the state’s position as a global center for entrepreneurship.
