المملكة: A heat wave and thunderstorms… the weather conditions vary in the Kingdom on Sunday

According to the meteorological statement, a heat wave is affecting parts of the Eastern and Medina regions, while surface winds are active in parts of those regions, as well as in parts of the northern border regions, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Riyadh.

There is still an opportunity for thunderstorm rain to fall on parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha, extending to the southern parts of the highlands of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

Red Sea

• Surface winds: northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 20-45 km/h and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part at a speed of 10-32 km/h.
• Wave height: from one to two meters in the northern and central part and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part.
• Condition Sea: Moderate waves in the northern and central parts and light to medium waves in the southern parts.

Arabian Gulf

• Surface winds: westerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts and northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part, at a speed of 10-35 km/hour.
• Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half metres.
• Sea state: light to medium waves.
