Khorfakkan hosts a conference for people with disabilities and amended physical education

Khorfakkan on September 28/ WAM/ Khor Fakkan Club launches the activities of the eighth edition of the Khorfakkan International Scientific Conference, for people with disabilities and modified physical education, on the first of next October, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
The conference will be held under the slogan “Sustainable Physical Activity and the Quality of Life for Persons with Disabilities”, and it will continue for two days at Khorfakkan University, and is organized by the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, in cooperation with the Academy of Research and Development of Sports Science activities “Study”, and in coordination with the Sharjah Sports Council.
The participation of 9 international experts from 8 Arab, European, Asian and American countries, representing a group of scientists and researchers interested in the issues of modified physical activity at the global level.
The announcement of this came in a press conference of the Organizing Committee this morning, at the club’s headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Saleh Al -Naqbi, Chairman of the Organizing Supreme Committee, and Dr. Louay Saeed Al Alay Al -Naqbi, Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Al -Naqbi stressed that the support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, the unlimited and continuous care of the category of determination, had a tangible impact on enhancing their rights and empowering them in all fields, especially in the sports field, especially since sport is an effective means of societal integration and improving the quality of life.
Dr. Louay Saeed Al Alai Al -Naqbi said that the interest in sporting people with disabilities is not only limited to providing modern facilities, but also to build the capabilities of players and coaches and qualify specialized national cadres, hoping that the conference will be a new starting point towards broader horizons of international cooperation, with its approved training programs, and the qualitative addition to workers in the sports, medical and educational field.
