A student opens fire in a school in Turkey, killing 4 people

A student opened fire in two classrooms at a school in southeastern Türkiye, killing four people and wounding 20 others, officials said.

Kahramanmaraş Governor, Karam Onlur, said that the student, who was also killed, was armed with weapons that belonged to his father, who worked as a policeman.

He added that among the victims was a teacher.

The motive behind the attack was not immediately known.
