Abdul Aziz bin Hamid: Ajman hosting an exhibition"Big Bad Wolf for the book" Commitment to support culture and enriching intellectual life

Ajman, September 29/ WAM/ Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, head of the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman, confirmed that hosting the Emirate of Ajman, “Big Bad Wolf International Book”, reflects its commitment to supporting culture and enriching intellectual life in the emirate, and embodies its leadership to consolidate its position as a center for creativity, education and knowledge.

This came during his visit today to the exhibition hosted by the emirate for the first time, under the auspices of the Department of Tourism Development at the Ajman Youth Center, and it will continue until October 5 and look at it on the wide variety that includes more than 250 thousand books in various fields, and the discounts it provides up to 90%, to encourage all groups of society to read and acquire books.

He stressed that reading is a basic societal value that must be strengthened between generations and all groups of society, noting that the “Big Bad Wolf” exhibition for the book constitutes an important platform to spread culture and provide an opportunity for everyone to see various cognitive sources.

He said that the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman pays great attention to supporting such initiatives and events, in believing in its role in building a conscious and creative society that serves itself, its society and its country.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition is held in cooperation with the Ajman government, with the support of the Sharjah Book Authority, and in a strategic partnership with the Office of Special Education Affairs in Ajman and the Ajman Youth Center, with the aim of strengthening the emirate’s position as a cultural and educational center at the level of the state and the region.

The exhibition receives its visitors daily from 10 am to 9 pm, and provides a distinctive knowledge experience that includes books of literature, imagination, science, self -development and children’s books, amid a wide demand from families, students and those interested in reading.

The “Big Bad Wolf” exhibition for the book constitutes a leading cultural opportunity, which allows visitors to acquire various publications at competitive prices, within a distinctive atmosphere that celebrates knowledge and re -reading its place is an essential pillar of communication, creativity and intellectual development.
