Hamdan bin Zayed receives a delegation "Abu Dhabi Ports" It is seen on the developments of infrastructure projects
Abu Dhabi, September 29/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al -Dhafra region, received at the Palace of Al -Nakhil in Abu Dhabi, a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Ports Group headed by Captain Mohamed Jumaa Al Shamsi, Managing Director of the group, in the context of strengthening development efforts and supporting the sustainable development process in the Al Dhafra region.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the developments of the projects implemented by the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, to develop the marine infrastructure and the facilities of receiving tourist ships on Sir Bani Yas Island.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of infrastructure projects that are being implemented, to find an integrated development environment that contributes to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and keeps pace with the targets of sustainable development in various regions of the emirate, including the Al Dhafra region, within the framework of the directives and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, who gives sustainable development in the various emirates of the state Especially important, and is keen to enable strategic projects that enhance the UAE’s position on the map of the global economy and serve the well -being of society.
His Highness said that the increase in the capacity of the infrastructure on the island of Sir Bani Yas aims to attract more visitors, and to enhance the position of the island and a destination for the reception of luxury yachts and tourist ships, to establish the position of Abu Dhabi as a leading marine world center.
For his part, Captain Mohamed Jumaa Al Shamsi, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group said: “The vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the Al Dhafra region constitutes a major incentive in our endeavor to highlight the status of Sir Bani Yas Island, a leading global marine and tourist destination,” stressing that the group is in the process of developing plans to increase the capacity of the infrastructure in the island, and develop the reception services Luxury and tourist ships.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hazza bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, and a number of officials.
