The Intellectual Forum at the Kalba Festival for Short Players discusses the refinement of amateur skills

Kalba, on September 29 / WAM / The Kalba Festival for Short Players started its third day with an intellectual forum, aimed at caring and refining theater amateurs of all ages, which came under the title “The Role of Short Dramatics in Developing Directical Skills”.
In the first session of the forum, which was moderated by Adel Madih, “Morocco”, Dr. Rayan Al -Qadi spoke from Tunisia, and his intervention entitled “Short Planets: Directing at the Minimum and Impact on the Far limit”, and took the experience of Italian writer and director Dario Fu as an application model for his intervention.
In the second session of the forum, which dealt with the challenges of directing short plays, and managed by Kamali Hilali from Tunisia, the first intervention entitled “Time in short plays: the dialectic of registration and creativity potential”, and presented by Dr. Ashraf Al -Rabhi from Tunisia.
As for the second intervention, entitled “The role of the director in shaping the intellectual time in short theatrical performances”, presented by the director and writer Mukhallad Rasim from Iraq.
In the evening period, the audience witnessed two short theatrical shows, the first entitled “The Square of punishment”, which is adapted from the text of the “Al -Aqab settlement” by Franz Kafka, and it was directed by Hakop Eid .. The second show came under the title “The Hospital” by writer Peter Nazareth, and directed by Amal Hassan.

In the critical symposium, which was moderated by the Tunisian artist Sana Karshoud, the interventions varied, as there are those who praised the richness of the directing treatment and the multiplicity of its tools, and there are those who took the director to excessively employ expressive means and techniques.
