“The Arab Gulf” signs a partnership agreement with “Rafah International” to organize the ICME 2027 conference

The Arab Gulf University has signed a partnership agreement with the Pakistani International Rafah University with the aim of enhancing international academic cooperation in the field of medical education between the two universities, and providing a scientific platform to exchange experiences and knowledge between academics, researchers and professionals, as well as organizing a joint international scientific conference that brings together medical education experts from different countries of the world.

The agreement, which was signed on Tuesday morning, September 30, 2025, provides for the formation of joint organizational committees whose mission is to prepare for the organization of the eighth international conference for medical education (ICME 2027) in the coming period, in order to provide a platform for interaction between international experts in the field of medical education, and invite international speakers to participate in the conference, as it provides for the establishment of joint educational programs such as forums, lectures and training workshops Research projects.

The President of the Arab Gulf University, His Excellency Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fahid, said after the signing of the agreement: “This partnership comes with Rafah International University to promote scientific cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of medical education, and to provide an international platform for vocational dialogue and development, as this partnership represents a strategic step that shows the commitment of the two universities to enhance medical education and scientific research, as it opens the prospects for exchanging experiences and knowledge between members of the academic body and medical students and health sciences In both universities, which contributes to raising the level of medical education and scientific research and contributes to developing their academic and vocational skills.

He added, “The partnership between the two universities represents a vital bridge for academic and research cooperation in the field of medical education, the exchange of scientific experiences, and the organization of joint scientific conferences, which enhances the position of the two universities at the regional and international levels and supports the development of medical education in line with aspirations.”

For his part, the Vice President of Rafah International University, Prof. Dr. Yaur Hayat Khan, explained that the university administration expresses its pride in this partnership with the Arab Gulf University to organize the International Conference on Medical Education (ICME) in its eighth edition, a scientific event that is organized every two years in cooperation with educational institutions with high scientific confidence from around the world, in order to provide a platform for interaction between international experts in the field of medical education.

The conference aims to keep pace with modern developments in accordance with the latest trends in the field of medical education, including the use of technology and artificial intelligence in education, enhancing academic cooperation and providing a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge between educational institutions and researchers in the field of medical education, as well as developing educational curricula by discussing and developing curricula to meet the needs of the global health system, leading to promoting quality and dependence by discussing quality standards and accreditation in education Medical to ensure the provision of high -quality education.
