Seoul records standard exports of semi -conductors

South Korea recorded the highest exports ever for semi -conductors last September, according to official data yesterday, despite the increasing pressure from American customs duties, and other restrictions on the vital sector.

Seoul registered exports in the semiconductors of more than 16.6 billion dollars last month, an increase of more than one -fifth of September 2024, according to data of the Ministry of Industry.

The increase was driven by a large demand for high -term memory slices, such as HBM, used in artificial intelligence servers, according to the ministry.
