A senior Qatari official attended a call of Netanyahu’s apology at the White House

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that a senior Qatari official was present in the “apology call” at the White House.

According to the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot”, “during the call of an apology between Netanyahu and the Qatari Prime Minister Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, which took place last Monday in the White House of Oval Office, he was also present with a high -ranking Qatari official.”

She added: “This official is Ali Al -Thawadi, who is a high -ranking diplomat in Qatar, and has the powers of a minister.

However, the newspaper quoted the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, as confirming the “attendance of Al -Thawadi only during the phone call” and denied the meeting of Netanyahu.
