Hamdan bin Mubarak praises the performance and results of the junior national team in the Gulf Championship

Dubai, October 3/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Football Association, praised the performance and results of our national junior team in the Gulf Cup for U -17 teams, stressing that the participation was positive after obtaining the second position, and said that what was achieved came as a result of serious work, perseverance, good preparation, and keenness and commitment from the players.

He stressed that participation is important and necessary for this generation of talents, as our smaller team in the championship that brought together teams born in 2008, while our players were born in 2009, indicating that pushing this team with teams greater than him is a good idea to enhance the confidence of the players in themselves, and establish a solid base for self -development.

His Excellency praised the efforts of the technical staff led by national coach Majid Salem, stressing that success enhances the experiences of national cadres in football and pushes them towards development, and helps to achieve more achievements in the future.

He added, “The cooperation of the clubs with the Football Association provides a fertile environment for creativity and excellence, and we value this cooperation and call for its continuation to serve the national teams and local clubs, that every new generation of talent is born in stadiums that constitutes a strong addition to the Emirati football, and that every talent appears in the teams of age groups must provide them with care and support to become a spherical jewel, because we desperately need it.”
His Excellency stressed that the Football Association will continue to provide the best preparation programs for this team for the upcoming entitlements.
