Hamas announces the delivery of its response to President Trump’s plan for the brokers

Hamas announced, on Friday evening, that it had handed over to the brokers, Egypt and Qatar, its response to the plan of US President Donald Trump to end the war in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued on Friday evening, the movement expressed its appreciation for Trump’s efforts to stop the war and to bring aid to Gaza, confirming its willingness to enter negotiations through the brokers to implement the American plan.

Hamas confirmed its approval to hand over the Gaza Strip administration to an independent Palestinian body, adding that “the future of the Gaza Strip is discussed through a comprehensive national framework.”

Hamas also agreed to release all the prisoners detained according to the exchange formula stipulated in the Trump plan.

Earlier on Friday, Trump had given “Hamas” until Sunday evening to reach what he called the “Last opportunity” agreement represented in his plan for the future of the Gaza Strip, threatening that “hell will erupt” against the movement’s fighters if he does not respond positively to his proposal.
