"Ras Al Khaimah Customs" Looking to enhance trade cooperation with the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce
Ras Al -Khaimah, October 6/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Rashid Rashid Al -Mahrazi, Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Customs, and a delegation from the Chinese Public Trade Chamber in the country discussed ways of cooperation and enhancing international trade movement with China.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed the most prominent customs procedures and policies related to the goods received through the Customs of Ras Al -Khaimah, in addition to the competitive advantages that the emirate enjoys in the fields of land, sea and air transport, which enhances its role as a strategic center linking the People’s Republic of China and the United Arab Emirates, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and global markets.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of strategic partners from the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Regions Authority “Rakz” and Ras Al Khaimah ports, the efforts made to attract Chinese companies to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which have contributed during the past years to attract a large number of companies to the free zones and the local market, reflecting the emirate’s position as an investment destination attractive to international companies.
