المملكة: The Mayor of Riyadh Region honors the organizing team of the World City Planning Council
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf honored the Secretary of the in its 61st edition for the year 2025 AD, which was organized by the Riyadh Municipality in December 2025 AD, in appreciation of their efforts and the work they provided that contributed to the success of the hosting and the achievement of its goals.
The conference also achieved a number of gains, most notably the appointment of the city of Riyadh as a member of the ISOCARP organization, and recording the highest levels of attendance and demand compared to previous versions of the Council, in addition to the signing of a number of agreements sponsored by the Secretariat. The conference witnessed the presentation of summaries and scientific research in numbers exceeding previous sessions, and the activation of the central Riyadh region within the activities of the conference and accompanying programmes.

The outcomes of the conference reflect the approach of aims to strengthen international partnerships, support urban planning paths, and empower national competencies, in a way that contributes to developing the city and raising the quality of life, in line with its vision to be a leading municipality for a prosperous and sustainable Riyadh that raises the quality of life.
