A program to train 10 thousand citizens on entrepreneurship skills

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism, the New Economy Academy, and the “IGNYTE” platform, the global digital platform designated to support the growth of startups and small and medium -sized companies developed by the Dubai International Financial Center, announced the launch of the “Entrepreneurship” program, which is directed at Emirati entrepreneurs, which aims to train 10,000 citizens and citizenship on entrepreneurship skills and launch new quality projects.

The program includes intense training on “the basics of entrepreneurship” for a period of three days, and another on “integrated entrepreneurship”, which represents a comprehensive training experience that extends over a period of six days.

The program comes within the national campaign, “The Emirates is the capital of entrepreneurs in the world”, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, with the aim of consolidating the position of the UAE as a global destination for entrepreneurship, through an integrated group of programs and initiatives that support Emirati youth and enable them to establish projects, motivate innovation, and contribute to diversifying the national economy.

This came during a press conference held in Dubai yesterday, organized by the media office of the UAE government to announce the details of the program, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, and the CEO of the Dubai International Financial Center Authority, Aref Amiri and the CEO of the New Economy Academy, Dr. Laila Faridon.

The “Entrepreneurship” program aims to attract 10,000 citizens and citizenship in a unified program that combines the basics and practices of entrepreneurship for new entrepreneurs, and an advanced program that includes a comprehensive journey from establishing to sustainable growth and global expansion, training them in entrepreneurship skills, enabling them to launch quality projects that achieve local growth and global competition, and provide thousands of economic opportunities and enhance the contribution of small and medium -sized companies in The growth of the non -oil domestic product of the national economy.

Abdullah Al Saleh emphasized that the “Entrepreneurship” program establishes the vision of our wise leadership in enhancing the position of the UAE as the global capital of entrepreneurship and innovation, especially since the country won the first rank globally in the report of the International Entrepreneurship Observatory for the year 2025, which ranked it as the best place for entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises at the regional and international levels.

Aref Emiri stressed that the “Entrepreneurship” program represents a qualitative opportunity for Emirati youth to acquire practical and scientific skills that enable them to transform their ideas into innovative projects that can be growing and expanding and embodying the polarization of 10 thousand participants in the country’s commitment to building a new generation of entrepreneurs who are able to lead future economic transformations in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”.
