United Pirlo is the first investment club to reach the round of 16 in the cup

The supervisor of the United club, former international Mohamed Qassem, described his team’s qualification to face Sharjah in the round of 16 of the President’s Cup with historical achievement, after beating Dibba Al-Hosn 2-1 in the last preliminary round matches for first-class clubs.

United will play with Sharjah in the match that will be hosted by United on the 24th of this month, in the face of an upcoming mass.

He stressed that the contract with Italian legend Andrea Pirlo as a coach of the team will pave the successive positive results, noting that the efforts made by the club president, the investor, the Moldovian investor, Eli Sapiano, is great and influential.

Qasim continued: «Coach Pirlo gave the players a high and real confidence, helped them to provide a strong match and led them to win the Dibba Al -Hosn, although the match was held at the latter’s stadium and in front of his fans, which is the secret behind achieving victory.

He explained that «winning five consecutive matches in the league championships and the President of the President of the State under the supervision of Pirlo, is an important technical point that will add to the team a lot in the upcoming matches, as well as qualifying to confront professional clubs».
