Egypt wins 6 medals on the first day of the World FinSwimming Championships

Our national finswimming team won 6 various medals, two gold, one silver, and three bronze, as part of the morning competitions of the first day of the World Open Water Finswimming Championship, which is hosted by the city of El Alamein during the period from 8 to 12 October of this year.
In the women’s 1-kilometer competition, Nada Magdy won the crown. She won the gold medal after achieving a time of 8 minutes, 50 seconds, and 95 fractions of a second, while her colleague Ghada Muhammad Khalil won the bronze medal for the same competition after achieving a time of 9 minutes, 8 seconds, and 62 fractions of a second.
In the 1-kilometer competition for men, Hassan Muhammad Al-Dafrawi was crowned with the silver medal after achieving a time of 8 minutes, 37 seconds, and 21 fractions of a second. Second.
In the 1 km competition for juniors, Yassin Muhammad won the gold medal after achieving a time of 8 minutes, 42 seconds and 21 seconds, and his colleague Youssef Amir won bronze after achieving a time of 8 minutes 53 seconds and 44 seconds.
In the 1 km competition for junior women, Farah Wael won the bronze medal after Achieving a time of 9 minutes, 25 seconds and 55 hundredths of a second.
Ahmed Hisham Safwat qualified for the final of the men’s 150m double fin, and Noha Mohamed and Basmala Sobhi qualified for the women’s 150m double fin final.
Farida Mohamed also qualified for the final of the women’s 150m double fin, and Omar Taher also qualified. And Youssef Abdel Rahman for the final of the 150m double fins for juniors.
In the evening, the 1 km double fins race will be held (men – women / juniors – juniors) and the 150m mono qualifiers (men – women / juniors – females).
