Giza: Water was cut off for 6 hours in some areas of the pyramid on Friday evening
Giza Governorate announces that the Giza Water and Sanitation Company has cut off water to the area between Al-Haram and Faisal, from Messaha to Mariouteya, for a period of 6 hours, starting from twelve o’clock in the evening on Friday, corresponding to 10/10/2025, until six o’clock in the morning on Saturday, corresponding to October 11, 2025. Giza Governorate explains that the company attributed the reason for the water cut to the work of connecting a new drinking water line with a diameter of 300 mm to two existing lines with a diameter of 300 mm and 200 mm in front of Farid El Sebaei Street, which conflict with the work of the Talbia Metro Station, Line 4. Giza Governorate indicates that the drinking water company will provide potable water trucks located in the affected areas, and if requested, please call the hotline 125 until the work is completed and water is pumped back to the citizens.
