64 evenings in the new horse racing season in the Emirates… and it will start next October 22

The Emirates Horse Racing Authority announced the official program for horse racing in the country for the new season 2026-2027, which will begin next October 22 from the Abu Dhabi Race Track, in a season that reflects the continued ambition of the UAE to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent global destinations for horse racing.
The season’s calendar includes 64 racing days distributed over five different tracks across the country, with 17 racing days at Meydan Racecourse, 16 racing days at Abu Dhabi Race Track, 14 racing days at Al Ain Race Track, 11 racing days at Jebel Ali Race Track, and 6 racing days at Sharjah Longines Race Track.
The Durrat Meydan Racecourse remains the Emirati horse racing track, as it hosts the conclusion of the season with the Dubai World Cup on March 27, 2027, with prizes of $12 million, and is the ninth and main round of the “Dubai World Cup Evening.”
On December 12, Abu Dhabi Racecourse will host the President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, with a financial prize of 8 million dirhams, and it is considered one of the most important races for Purebred Arabian horses in the world.
On February 7, 2027, the track will also host the “Abu Dhabi Golden Cup,” dedicated to purebred horses, with prizes of one million dollars.
The Sharjah Longines Race Track is once again witnessing a series of major races, most notably the Sharjah Ruler’s Cup, the Gulf Cooperation Council Cup, the Sharjah Crown Prince’s Cup, and the Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cup, which represents the opening round of the Emirates Speed Series.
Al Ain Racecourse continues to host endurance races through the “Marathon” series consisting of three stages, in addition to the Al Ain Mile Race, while Jebel Ali Racecourse maintains its long-standing tradition of presenting competitive races through its most prominent races, through the “Jebel Ali Mile,” the “Jebel Ali Sprint,” and the “Jebel Ali Stakes,” which are among the most prominent stations of the season.
