The activation of the Rahmaniyah neighborhood comes as a continuation of the success achieved in the Al-Wurud neighborhood, which last August witnessed the first application of the system within residential neighborhoods.

The number of free residential permits exceeded A barrier of 10,000 permits were issued there, a number that reflects the large positive interaction of the population with this regulatory solution and their eagerness to restore calm And the organized parking experience in their neighborhoods.

Regulating parking within residential neighborhoods

The system aims to allocate public parking within neighborhoods for their residents and visitors only, by issuing free digital permits that prevent the parking of unauthorized vehicles.
Residents can obtain permits for their own vehicles or their authorized persons easily through the application “Riyadh Parking”, which is linked to the “Nafath” platform to ensure data security and ease of registration.

To ensure the effectiveness of the regulation, smart control vehicles equipped with automated monitoring technologies are used, roaming the neighborhoods to distinguish authorized vehicles from others, ensuring accurate application of the system.
The application also allows residents to issue free permits to their visitors, including an “invitation “General” for large gatherings and “Private Invitation” valid for three days, to meet all their social needs.

The current phase of the expansion plan includes a number of vital neighborhoods, including Al-Wurud, Al-Rahmaniyah, Al-Murooj, Gharb Al-Olayya, King Fahd, and Sulaymaniyah.
The “Riyadh Parking” ultimately aims to organize more than 300,000 free managed parking spaces within the neighborhoods. Residential, in addition to more than 20,000 paid parking spaces on commercial streets, in an integrated system that increases the efficiency of using public spaces and achieves quality of life goals in the capital.
