Perhaps you are preparing for the decisive moment: an air train flowing with fighter planes to Iran

While Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei announced that his country no longer imposes any restrictions on the range of its ballistic missiles, stressing that he issued a direct order to lift the ceiling that was previously set at 2,200 kilometers, air traffic control sources revealed that a giant Russian An-124 transport plane was heading towards Iran within 24 hours.

According to the “Arabic Defense” website, it appears to be part of a third shipment of Russian fighter aircraft heading to Tehran, in preparation – according to Western estimates – for “decisive hours.” From a possible confrontation with Israel.

The flight, tracked by FlightRadar24, showed the plane heading from the Irkutsk Air Base in Siberia to Iranian territory. This base houses one of the most important military aircraft factories in Russia, which produces Sukhoi Su-30 and Yak-130 fighter aircraft. Satellite images show intense activity around the plant and its runway, fueling speculation that the plane was carrying a new shipment of fighter jets bound for Iran.

Military analyzes indicate that the capacity of the An-124 allows it to carry up to six Yak-130 fighter jets or two Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jets per flight.

This means Iran may actually receive between four and six new fighter aircraft in recent days, in addition to two previous batches that were transported late last September on similar flights from the same location.

It is believed that the shipment arrived at the Hamedan Air Base in western Iran, which has been undergoing extensive development operations to accommodate Russian Su-35 fighter jets for months. This shipment is part of a major deal announced by the Iranian Parliament to purchase 48 Su-35 fighter aircraft with a total value of $6 billion.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin gradually between 2026 and 2028, and these steps coincide with increasing indications that Iran is improving its air capabilities by receiving MiG-29 fighter aircraft, which It recently appeared in an air show in Iranian airspace.

This step aims to improve the air force’s readiness to defend Iran’s internal and vital nuclear sites, such as Fordow and Natanz, while improving its capabilities to intercept aircraft against any potential Israeli or American threat.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his country’s concern about the Iranian missile program. Accelerated, noting that Tehran is working to develop intercontinental ballistic missiles with a range of up to 8,000 kilometers, which he said could reach the East Coast of the United States. Netanyahu confirmed that Iran conducted a mysterious test of a long-range missile last September 18 from the Khomeini Space Center near Tehran, which indicates Tehran’s intention to expand its strategic capabilities beyond the regional scope.

In this context, Russian research centers believe that Moscow’s interest in strengthening its security partnership with Iran stems from its sensitive geopolitical position and its ability to play a balanced role in the Middle East, not Especially in light of its possession of a large stock of ballistic missiles and drones, capabilities that Russia considers a useful asset in the face of Western pressure.
