" Tiger obstacle race" Obstacle challenge enthusiasts gather in Khor Fakkan

Sharjah, October 9 / WAM / On January 17, 2026, the Sharjah Government Media Office will organize the “Tiger Obstacle Race,” which will start from the Khor Fakkan Amphitheater as part of its agenda aimed at promoting community sports amidst the charming nature and prominent tourist attractions that the bride of the East Coast enjoys.

This year, the race is distinguished by the addition of new obstacles distributed in selected locations in Khor Fakkan to give participants a unique sporting experience that combines speed, strength and agility, making the race an exceptional sports station awaited by challenge lovers.

The race tracks are designed to suit different ages and levels, with children participating in a 600-meter race and a 1,200-meter race, while amateurs participate in a 4-kilometre race.

An 8-kilometre race was allocated to all participants, while professionals competed over the same distance to qualify for cash prizes worth 18,000 dirhams given to the best three competitors in the men’s and women’s categories, giving each participant the opportunity to go through the experience according to his athletic level, so that each competitor had the opportunity to go through the experience according to his athletic level.

The event will witness participation from various age groups, and the three fastest runners will be honored with cash prizes as part of an exceptional experience for adventure and challenge lovers to experience obstacle sports, which begins at seven in the morning and extends until five in the evening.
