The Medina Health Council explained that the beneficiary came to the hospital’s emergency department suffering from sudden loss of vision in the eye. A complex operation
An urgent initial repair of the injury was performed, then it was decided to perform advanced secondary surgery to remove the metal object from the retina, with the participation of the specialists in front of the eye and surgery. The retina.
The group stated that the operation included extracting the damaged lens using the phaco technique and implanting a multi-piece artificial lens, then removing the vitreous body and removing the metal body through a small opening in the sclera, along with injecting antibiotics into the eye and treating the retina with a laser to compensate for the damage resulting from the injury.
The health group confirmed that after the operation The patient’s vision gradually improved, the pain disappeared significantly, his health condition stabilized, and he left the hospital in good health after completing the treatment plan.
