Shakhbut bin Nahyan discusses with the Norwegian envoy to the Horn of Africa enhancing cooperation in Africa
ABU DHABI, October 10 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with Dr. Endre Stensen, Special Envoy of the Kingdom of Norway to the Horn of Africa, where ways to enhance joint efforts to support peace and stability in the region were discussed.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Horn of Africa, and the two sides stressed the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts to facilitate the arrival of humanitarian aid and advance paths of development and stability.
His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan affirmed the UAE’s commitment to continuing cooperation and consultation with its international partners, including the Kingdom of Norway, in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability on the African continent.
The two sides agreed to continue coordination and explore new areas of cooperation in support of initiatives aimed at consolidating peace and development in the region.
