Ras Al Khaimah Economy launches the third edition of the Entrepreneurship Forum
Ras Al Khaimah, October 10 / WAM / The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah launched the third edition of the Entrepreneurship Forum, under the patronage and presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department.
The forum witnessed the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Shayeb Al-Naqbi, Director General of the Department of Economic Development, along with a number of directors and officials in government agencies, media professionals and entrepreneurs.
Organizing the forum is part of the department’s efforts to support entrepreneurship and promote economic diversification, in line with the emirate’s strategy aimed at building a competitive and sustainable business environment that supports the growth of small and medium enterprises.
The event included two main axes: the first, sessions and workshops presented by ten local and international companies, which discussed the latest technologies in marketing, banking services and electronic payment, and the second: direct meetings between entrepreneurs and companies to present services, expand the horizons of cooperation, and discuss opportunities for local, regional and international partnerships.
The forum witnessed the presence of a large gathering of visitors and participants from emerging, small and medium-sized companies from various vital commercial sectors.
Aisha Obaid Al-Ayyan, Director of the Department’s Business Development Department, confirmed that the forum represents a strategic platform to support entrepreneurs, noting that the design of this year’s edition came after studying their needs in cooperation with partners with the aim of enhancing innovation and commercial partnerships in keeping with Ras Al Khaimah’s economic vision.
