Painful details… Angelina Jolie reveals the secrets of her divorce from Brad Pitt

In new judicial documents before the Superior Court in Los Angeles, international star Angelina Jolie spoke about the emotional difficulties she faced during her divorce from her ex-husband Brad Pitt, especially in the dispute over the Miraval Palace in France.

Jolie (50 years old) explained that the separation was painful for her and her children, noting that she left Pitt full control of their homes in Los Angeles and Miraval when filing for divorce, without any compensation, in the hope that this would contribute to calming the differences.

The star confirmed that she and her children Maddox (24), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (19), and twins Knox and Vivienne (17) did not return to Miraval, due to his connection to the traumatic events that led to the divorce. She added that she had rented a temporary house while searching for stable housing for them.

Pitt (61 years old) is suing Jolie for her share in the French palace, claiming that she sold it without his permission, while Jolie confirms that his approval was not required. She also revealed that her preoccupation with caring for children and protecting them from the effects of divorce led her not to work for about two years, which led to financial hardship to the point that she was unable to buy a house with cash in Los Angeles.

Jolie also asked the court to recover $33,000 to cover legal fees related to her response to Pitt’s request to obtain her private messages.
