Do not sentence him to death… An Arab actress appeals to save a young man (video)

Actress Heidi Karam launched a donation campaign to save the young man, Mohamed Ibrahim (33 years old), who suffers from severe pulmonary fibrosis, which forced him to be on respirators for 5 years. She said in a video on Instagram that Muhammad “is living on respirators… his lungs are not fully functioning, and he is unable to take a normal breath,” stressing that he is bedridden and unable to practice the simplest daily activities, which has deprived him of the dream of marriage and childbirth.

Karam explained that the only hope for Muhammad is a lung transplant in a hospital outside Egypt at a total cost of approximately 14 million pounds, of which only 6.5 million pounds remain. She indicated that the Ministry of Social Solidarity has allocated an official account for donations in the name of Muhammad Ibrahim, but it will be closed within days according to the prescribed legal period.

She added: “Mohamed is racing against time… When the account is closed, his only hope for survival will be lost,” calling for donations: “6.5 million pounds is not a large amount for good Egyptians… Every pound will make a difference.” She concluded: “Please… do not sentence him to death. Help Muhammad live; your donation may be the reason for writing a new life for him.”

Heidi called on the public to contribute through the official donation accounts published on Muhammad’s page, whether through banks or InstaPay, stressing that “any possible amount will change his fate.”
