The scenario of loss from the UAE national team is “painful”

Omani national team defender Amjad Al Harithi confirmed that the scenario of losing to the UAE national team was very painful in the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup.
The UAE national team achieved a dramatic late victory over Oman 2-1 on Saturday, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, in the first group competitions of the Asian fourth round (play-off) qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The Omani national team defender said in press statements after the match: “The loss is painful, but football is like that. Sometimes things go the way we want and sometimes they don’t. We, as players, did our best on the field, and every match is an experience that we learn from.”
He added: “The match is over, and now all we have to do is prepare for the future. We will benefit from mistakes and work together to provide the best performance in the future.”
