Zainab Fayyad publishes a message against rumors amid controversy over her relationship with Ahmed Abu Hashima

The daughter of the artist Haifa Wehbe, Zainab Fayyad, published on her Instagram account a quote by the writer Naguib Mahfouz, in which she indicated the need to be careful of the rumors that spread about women. She said in her post:

“Be careful what you hear about women. Rumors come from a man who is unable to have her, or a woman who is unable to compete with her.”
During the past few days, the platforms were abuzz with speculation about Fayyad’s relationship with her mother’s ex-husband, the Egyptian businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima, and some comments considered it “revenge” against Wehbe, especially after photos and clips were circulated that were said to show them together in a restaurant in Lebanon.
