Central Bank: Covering the issuance of government treasury bills worth 70 million dinars

The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that Issue No. 2090 (ISIN BH0002F70495) of the weekly government treasury bills it issues on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been covered.

The value of the issue is 70 million Bahraini dinars for a maturity period of 91 days beginning on October 15, 2025, and ending on January 14, 2026. The interest rate on these notes reached 5.00%, compared to the interest rate of 5.02% for the previous issue dated October 1, 2025.

The average discount price was 98.751%, and the lowest participation price was accepted at 98.740%, noting that the issue was covered by 135%.

The outstanding balance of treasury bills with this issuance amounted to 2.110 billion Bahraini dinars.
