Bahrain University of Technology is preparing to host the second edition of the International Conference on Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies (SIMDTE 2025)

The University of Bahrain for Technology (UTB) is preparing to host the second edition of the Sustainable Innovations in Management in the Age of Digital Transformation (SIMDTE 2025) conference, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, on October 14 and 15, 2025 at the InterContinental Bahrain Hotel.
The conference aims to discuss the latest innovations in the fields of digital finance, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, digital marketing, e-commerce, and innovation in human resources, with the participation of an elite group of leaders, experts and academics from inside and outside Bahrain.
The conference will host prominent figures in the financial and technical sectors, including Ms. Fatima Al Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank, Mr. Abdul Wahed Al Janahi, CEO of “Benefit,” and Mr. Bader Sater, CEO of the Bahrain Financial Technology Center (FinTech B).
The conference is organized by the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Bahrain University of Technology, as an affirmation of the university’s commitment to supporting Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and enhancing its role in developing education, research and innovation. The university also continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent educational institutions recognized locally and internationally, with programs accredited by international bodies such as ABET, ECBE, CIM, and ACCA.
