At least 20 people killed in a bus fire in western India
At least 20 people were killed in Fire broke out in A bus was traveling in the state of Rajasthan, west of India, according to what the authorities and local media reported.

Compensation to the families of the victims
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his "Shocked by the loss of human life"stressing that the government will provide compensation to the families of the victims in the amount of 200,000 rupees (more than $2,200) for each victim.
India, the largest country in the world in terms of population, is famous for its disastrous record in the field of traffic safety.
According to the latest available data, in 2023, more than 480,000 accidents were recorded on Indian roads, resulting in deaths. Nearly 173,000 people were killed, and nearly 463,000 others were injured.
