More than 100,000 newly displaced people as a result of the war in Lebanon within 24 hours

The number of people displaced in Lebanon as a result of Israeli raids reached 667,000 people, an increase of 100,000 people in 24 hours, according to what the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced on Tuesday.
Karlolina Lindholm Billing, UNHCR representative in Lebanon, said in a press conference, “More than 667,000 people in Lebanon have registered themselves as displaced persons on the government’s electronic platform, that is, an increase of 100,000 people in one day.”
