“Entrepreneurs in Bahrain” announces the opening of registration for the “GSEA” global competition

The Bahrain Entrepreneurs Organization announced the opening of registration for the new edition of the “GSEA” global competition, which targets university students with entrepreneurial projects, and gives them the opportunity to move from local competitions to global finals among an elite group of entrepreneurs in more than 50 countries around the world.
Bahraini university students who are entrepreneurs wishing to participate in this global competition can register via the website www.eonetwork.org/gsea/apply, where applications continue until next October 30, provided that the local competitions will be held in Bahrain on December 8, 2025, and the winner of the qualifiers qualifies to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in the regional and global stages of the competition.
The competition requires that the applicant be between the ages of 18 and 30, and currently registered as an undergraduate or graduate student at a university. The participant must also be the owner, founder, or main shareholder of his or her business project, and the project must have operated for a period of no less than six months and generated revenues of no less than $500 or received investments worth $1,000.
Participation in this pioneering competition is not limited to competition only, but also gives participating students an integrated experience of exchanging visions and experiences, and expanding the network of relationships with business leaders in Bahrain and abroad, which contributes to building a new generation of young entrepreneurs.
On this occasion, the head of the Bahrain Entrepreneurs Organization, businessman Mr. Farid Badr, said: “We are proud to organize the “GSEA” competition in Bahrain in its new version, as it represents an inspiring global platform that opens wide horizons for learning and development to our ambitious youth, and gives them the opportunity to communicate with an influential network of entrepreneurs and experts at the local and international levels. This pioneering experience represents an important opportunity for participating students to hone Their skills and building leadership personalities capable of managing successful projects.”
He added: “Bahrain’s youth possess creative energies, visions and innovative ideas. Through this initiative, we aim to support these promising energies and enable students to transform their ambitious projects into prominent success stories that contribute to strengthening the national economy.”
He concluded by saying: “We are confident that the new version of the “GSEA” competition will reveal distinguished youth models that will raise Bahrain’s name high in international forums. We call on all student entrepreneurs with distinguished achievements in Bahrain’s universities to take the initiative to register and participate in this important initiative that will contribute to enriching their experience in the field of entrepreneurship and developing and prospering their projects.”

The Entrepreneurship Organization in Bahrain is a branch of the global network “EO”, which includes more than 18,000 entrepreneurs in 220 branches distributed in more than 75 countries. The number of members of the Bahrain branch is 37 Bahraini entrepreneurs who manage companies with a turnover exceeding $120 million, and provide about 3,900 job opportunities. The organization is led by a board of directors that includes 15 entrepreneurs, headed by businessman Mr. Farid Badr. The organization aims to enable its members to grow and exchange experiences, thus contributing to linking Bahrain to the global entrepreneurship system.
