المملكة: A citizen was arrested for committing a hunting violation in the King Abdulaziz Reserve
Field patrols of the Special Forces for Environmental Security were able to carry out their tasks in implementing the environmental system in of the royal order to arrest citizen Faisal Fahd Al-Rami, for committing in places where wild hunting is prohibited. He was in possession of an air rifle, (19) air ammunition, and (4) trapped fungal organisms.
He was stopped, legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority.
Hunting wild creatures
The Special Forces for Environmental Security stressed adherence to the environmental system and its executive regulations that prohibit , stressing that the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of (10,000) riyals, the penalty for hunting in places where wild hunting is prohibited is a fine of (5,000) riyals, and the penalty for hunting a domestic bird without a license is a fine of (5,000) riyals.
She called on the initiative to report any cases that represent an attack on the environment or wildlife, by calling the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any responsibility on the part of the reporter.
