The President awards the Pakistani Ambassador the Zayed II Medal, First Class

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, awarded the Zayed II Order, First Class, to Faisal Niyaz Tirmidhi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the UAE, in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries during his work as Ambassador to the UAE.

Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, handed over the medal to the ambassador, during his reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, he stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen relations with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in all fields, and to develop cooperation horizons in a way that serves the common interests and aspirations of the two countries and the two friendly peoples. He appreciated his contribution to consolidating these relations and pushing bilateral cooperation forward during his period of work in the country. He also expressed his wishes for good luck and success.

For his part, Tirmidhi expressed his sincere gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, “may God protect him,” praising the growing bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels, and the progress and achievements achieved by the UAE that reflect the leadership’s vision and its keenness to strengthen the country’s position in the international arena.

The Ambassador also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all government agencies in the UAE for the cooperation he found, which had a positive impact on the success of his mission to consolidate relations between the two countries.
