"Moro" and"Dubai Ambulance Services" They cooperate to enhance digital capabilities in the healthcare sector

Dubai, 17 October / WAM / The Integrated Data Solutions Center “Moro”, a subsidiary of “Digital DEWA”, the digital arm of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the areas of digital transformation, smart solutions, and innovation in data-driven health care.

The memorandum was signed by Eng. Marwan Salem bin Haider, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Digital Sector and CEO of the “Dewa Digital” Group, and His Excellency Mishal Abdul Karim Julfar, Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, on the sidelines of the “GITEX Global 2025” events, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Engineer Marwan Salem bin Haider said that “Moro” is committed to empowering government agencies through transformative digital solutions that rely on the power of data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, pointing out that the partnership with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services is an advanced step towards enabling emergency ambulance services to become smarter, faster and more efficient, in line with Dubai’s future vision for digital transformation and its goals in Sustainability.

Through the memorandum, Moro and the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services will work to explore future cooperation opportunities in key strategic areas that include shared cloud hosting services and hosting via cloud computing, in addition to Internet of Things and smart city solutions, cybersecurity services, managed and professional services, as well as advanced technologies and digital solutions, with the aim of enhancing innovation and improving efficiency. And the effectiveness of emergency health care services in Dubai.

For his part, His Excellency Mishal Abdul Karim Julfar said that the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services is keen to adopt innovative technologies that contribute to enhancing its readiness and raising the quality of its services, noting that the partnership with “Moro” provides the corporation with the opportunity to integrate advanced digital capabilities, improve the efficiency of emergency operations, and ensure the highest standards of providing health care services to members of the community.

This partnership enables Moro and the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services to develop and implement joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the digital infrastructure, improving data integration, and consolidating the cybersecurity system.

By employing emerging technologies and the latest digital solutions, this cooperation seeks to raise the efficiency of operational performance, accelerate response to emergency situations, and support Dubai’s vision of being the smartest and happiest city in the world.
