Under the directives of the President of the State, the UAE provides urgent relief aid to those affected by the floods of the Euphrates River in Syria

Abu Dhabi, June 11 / WAM / Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, the UAE, through the Emirates International Aid Agency, provided urgent relief aid to those affected by the recent floods of the Euphrates River in Syria.
This aid comes within the framework of the international commitment and moral responsibility undertaken by the UAE towards communities and peoples exposed to natural disasters and humanitarian crises, as the country is keen to respond immediately to those affected and in need by providing the necessary relief materials and basic shelter supplies for men, women and children.
In this regard, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri, President of the Emirates International Aid Agency, emphasized the great interest and unlimited support given by the wise leadership to provide urgent relief aid to various countries as a result of their exposure to accidental natural disasters or critical humanitarian crises, based on the solid legacy of the founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, towards giving, giving and solidarity, and extending a helping hand, assistance and cooperation to serve all of humanity.
