المملكة: Imam of the Holy Mosque: Excessive interest in strange things is not the business of those of sound mind


Fadila said Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaid, said that the story of the Companions of the Cave contains lessons and lessons that require us to pause and contemplate it.

And although the story is wondrous, there are something more amazing about it, which are the signs of God in the horizons and the souls, not to mention the world of the unseen and the secrets in it.

He explained that the signs of God in the universe are more amazing than the news of the Companions. cave, "Or did you think that the Companions of the Cave and Ar-Raqim were wondrous among Our signs?"

He explained that excessive interest in wonders and strange things and turning away from contemplating the signs of God in His great creatures is not the business of those with understanding.

Trusting in God

He explained Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Hamid, that the story of the Companions of the Cave is one of the signs of God and combines taking reasons and trusting, and among the lessons in this story is the difference between true belief in God and belief in the unseen and between relying on mere material things and devoting to fleeting material benefits that are far from the truth of faith.

He explained that God provided the People of the Cave with strength from Him, which bequeathed to them tranquility in the hearts. And contentment in the souls, and this is the provision of the one who flees to God and strives in His way.

He explained that among the reasons for attaining guidance are supplication, humility, resorting to God, and keenness to do good deeds and be with the righteous.
