The UAE women’s national team competes in the third group of the Asian Padel Cup
Dubai, October 17 / WAM / The UAE women’s national team is participating in the first Asian Padel Cup, which is hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, from October 17 to 24, and includes 13 teams in the men’s category and ten teams in the women’s category.
The UAE national team is represented in the tournament by eight players: Aisha Al-Awadhi, Maryam Al-Hashimi, Alia Taher, Fatima Al-Janahi, Aisha Shahdour, Fatima Hassan, Najla Issa, and Nouf Omar.
The draw placed the UAE team in the third group alongside the teams of Saudi Arabia, China and Pakistan, where they begin their journey against the Pakistani team.
The first group includes the teams of Lebanon, Thailand, and Qatar, while the second group includes the teams of Kuwait, Bahrain, and Indonesia.
The first round will conclude with eight teams qualifying for the quarter-finals to continue competing for the continental title in the first edition of the tournament.
